1.The story 'Through the tunnel' was played on the beach, in the foreign country to both mother and son. The story largely take place underwater.

Jerry decided to swim through the tunnel in the rock, after he saw other boys even though he real doesn't know if he can make it. His aim was to show himself to other young boys that he is a man who can swim through the tunnel. Unifortunately he was unable to communicate with other boys. Jerry prepared himself well for the way through the tunnel. He ordered his mother to buy him swimming googles a day before. As he dived in, he went through with no difficulties. As he continued swimming, the tunnel became darker, he started to panic and lose his control. He eventully came to a more darker point and his system was running out of oxygen. The water was pushing him up against the sharp roof and pained his back. He though something will happen to him. Finally he saw a light at a distance and swam to it. He came over the tunnel but he was in extreme pain and his nose was bleeding. Jerry proved himself to other young boys that he is a man after he came over the fight.
